The Wreck

Friday afternoon on their way to the Chris Tomlin and Israel Houghton concert, Scott and Levi were in an accident. They were stopped at a light, they started to go, Scott looked down to shift gears from 2nd to 3th, and looked up just in time to plow into the back of the car infront of him. Scott was fine, but the airbag got Levi and he bit down on his tongue at impact and cut and bruised it.

When I got to the accident site, Levi was histarical, I jumped out of the van and ran to him thinking he was seriously injured but he was just crying and mad because he was not going to get to the concert. The ambulance came and they wanted to take him in to have him checked out just to be sure. As you can see Levi was not happy.........
(I took this picture, thinking about my blog, and then I realized that I was thinking about my blog and not my son during this traumatic time, I put the camera up)

On the way to the hospital the EMT called ahead to the ER and told them that they were going to have to hurry the visit up so that Levi could make his first ever concert. From the accident site to the time we walked out of the hospital was less than an hour. The discharge nurse was in the room before the admitting person was finished. Now that is fast.
So that they could make it to the concert I drove them up to Indy, mom came down and picked me up (the baby shower was on Saturday) and I drove the Jeep home (thanks mom and dad) we are looking for a new vehicle, and just a little sad(very very little) to say goodbuy to our 1997 GEO Prism that got 40 miles to the gallon $1400 car. It paid for itself over and over again when gas was $4 a gallon and we were driving to Indy everyday. If you know of any good deals let me know.
While we were waiting for mom to arrive Millie and I went into a WalMart and bought a book for me and some peeps. I read and Millie explored the van and ate a peep.

As you can see Levi is healing up nicely. We are very thankful considering that on Friday nigh
his entire face was burnt and very sore.

I have been tagged

Bless my dear big sisters heart...she decided to play a game and tag me. The rules - 1. Take a pic of yourself right then and there. 2 Post it on your blog. 3 Tag three more people. Well I am only going to play by rule numbers 1 and 2. I don't have enough friends with blogs to keep it going.

So, I just got home from work, put Amelia down for a nap and came downstairs to start the laundry and check my email and blog. So this is what I look like after a oh so crazy day at CMO. Caroline was out today so it was just myself and one other teacher with 14 2 year olds. It was crazy. And of course they all had to poop at least twice. This is all after only about 4 hours of sleep. (I couldn't fall asleep last night), but there is no nap for me because this is what awaits me(see picture below) and we are haveing a church yard sale tomorrow and Saturday so I have to go to the church tonight to help set it up. Plus I need to get ready for Susan's shower on Saturday! (I am excited about that) everything else......well I would just rather curl up and read a book until I fell asleep.

As most of you know Millie fell in love with the jumpy castle while it was at CMO. But now that the weather is nice and we can go outside there really is no need for it and it has been returned to the rental company. Well Millie misses being able to jump. She will go to Levi's door to his room and cry to go upstairs to jump on his bed (something Levi has taught her.)

Today we just maybe found an alternative. While playing on the patio Millie decided to go back a few months to her earlier playing days. I don't know how she got in, but she did....she is a little monkey you know....or a skunk as Grandma McCoy calls her.

I say this again and again

I know I say this all the time, but my kids are too cute. Sunday they both sported new duds. Levi had a new suit and Millie wore a adorable pink and white flowerd dress with a matching pink overcoat. I couldn't get her to take the coat off for the picture.

One cool dude.

Can you tell she is saying "Cheese?"

Millie wanted to wear her pink crocs....I had to hide them when she wasn't looking and bring out the new dress shoes.

Spring Break Day 5

Well it is the last day of Levi's Spring Break. Today we finished cleaning the house and played the Wii. Millie has been super fussy. I think she prefers to go to CMO than to stay home. She certainly acts better there.

Some big news for us.....Scott has been elected as the new Section 5 Youth Director. He is a little excited and a whole lot nervous. In case you were wondering, we just didn't have enough going on as it was, so we thought we would add some more to our plate. Levi is excited because he will have a golf cart at camp this summer.

I am definitely ready to get back to a schedule.

Day 4 Continued

So I basically have most of the house cleaned, all except my room and the basement. Both of which I will clean tomorrow. Currently Levi is watching TV, he just came in from outside and Amelia is crying at my feet for a cracker, to which I said no, we just ate dinner.

The reason for this blog...After dinner I was washing dishes/cleaning the kitchen when Amelia came over to me completely soaked head to toe. I had picked up everything off of the table except for one glass of Cherry Coke (my one and only addiction). Well Millie climbed up onto the table and tried to get a drink splilling the entire cup all over her, the table, soaking the chair, and splashing all over the floor. I was not a happy camper to say the least. So today my floor got mopped twice.

Spring Break Day 4

Due to the post migrain weakness and no energy, we are staying home today in our pajamas. I am doing laundry, catching up on some reading, and playing with Levi and Amelia. Both of which are tired and just want to lay around. They are currently laying beside each other watching Tom and Jerry. Hopefully I will have enough energy and feel good enough to clean the kitchen when Amelia goes down for a nap.

Again what an eventfull spring break.
