The day started with me driving to Batesville, Greensburg, and Westport for some First Steps Visits with my supervising DT. All I can say is that I am very thankful that little Gideon does not have Spina bifida and when I think my house is dirty....it is not.
Scott met mom after work in Indy and we finally got our children back home. I had started doing laundry and cleaning out our closets, when they came in. Both were excited to be home. Around 4 pm I started seeing lines and I knew that a migrain was coming. I took some medicine and went to bed. I tried to make it to church, but when I started vomiting I just had Scott bring me home and I went back to bed. I woke up around 10 pm and watched American Idol, Good-bye Alexis Grace :(, and then went back to bed.
What a fun Spring Break we are having!

Spring Break Day 2
It is sunny, beautiful outside, and about 70 degrees out. So what do we do. That's right folks we go to.........you guessed it Chuck E. Cheese. We were the only customers there and a maintenance woman was testing all of the games and rides and leaving the tickets so Levi followed her around for a while and would take the tickets she left. Millie enjoyed herself by riding a ride for about two seconds and then she would say, "all done" and she moved on to whatever caught her eye. Then because the weather was so nice we had to go to the Goodwill and Kohls.
When we came home we did play outside and "wing" with Millie. Pap came home early and taught Levi how to get up onto the Harley, come July 25th he will finally be able to legally ride with Pap. Millie is now sleeping and Levi is wanting to go to the Park...hopefully Pap will take him.

Spring Break Day 1
I drove up to marion to spend a few days with my children. You see Jacob, Levi's bestest cousin was having his bday party last Friday night and Levi just couldn't miss it and I needed a babysitter for Wednesday. So Mom met me in Indy to get Levi and of course Millie wanted to go too so we decided that Mom would take both kids for the weekend I would come up on Monday and go back home on Tuesday evening so that I could be at my first steps appointments on Wednesday, and then mom is going to bring the kids back to me on Thursday on her way to St. Louis to pick up Sara Jane and the boys because Sara also needs a babysitter and David is in Africa. Point to the story......don't live so far away from your parents if you need babysitters. They can't say no so they have to drive.
With my two children you just never know what is going to happen.
After dinner we were sitting around the table and Millie kept coming in and getting the napkins and running back to Grandma McCoy's room. Mom figured she was just putting the napkins in with Grandma's napkins. Well after a few minutes I went in to check. Millie had been putting the napkins in the toilet and stirring them with a strawberry shortcake comb and then tasting it. She was just making some "PEE SOUP."
I don't know which is worse Millie making soup or Levi drinking the water from the urinal when he was little in the restroom of the funeral home at Grandpa McCoy's funeral.

Spring Break
I realize that it has been a while since I last put an update on for all on my followers. If there are any out there. This is the official start of our Spring Break. It is a much needed week off. The kiddos are already at my mom and dad's house and I am heading up tomorrow morning to be with them for a few days. Hopefully the weather will be beautiful and we can go to the park or something like that. We had hopes of going to St. Louis for a few days, but because of my hectic schedule we just could not fit it in.
I will try and fill you in about our week as the days pass by.

Our Weekend
Friday night we drove up to Marion for a little visit. Millie spent the evening with Pap for a little one on one playtime and of course Levi went to Jacobs house while the rest of us went to church. It was great being able to sit through a service without keeping kids quiet and happy.
Saturday was a beautiful day, which was spent outside playing golf and playing with the kiddos.

Pap and His two little loves.

A great weekend.
Beautiful Weather
For the past couple of days it has been sunny and in the 60s!!!!!! This has given us spring cleaning fever. I have cleaned out the van, and Scott has attacked the garage, pool, sheds and backyard. It has been great....now only if we can keep it this way.

While cleaning out the shed, Scott also found a dead chipmunk. What is it with our house and dead rodentsAs for the kids, Amelia has been enjoying the swingsets and playground at CMO and Levi is loving the the neighborhood boy Colin has come out to play. They told me they were getting ready to go out. I didn't question, but when I came back up to the porch a few minutes later they were all ready to go out on a hike.
I love the warm weather. I hope that it stays this way!!!
The best Pap ever!!!
