Ahhh the lovely sound of the recorder has hit our home. As with all homes of 4th graders. Earlier this school year we received a letter from the music teacher asking us to purchase a recorder for Levi from the school and not a cheaper one from retail stores. He went on to explain that the resonant sound from his choice of recorders was much better than the cheapers ones. It also has a very nice tone, well with this reasoning we were convinced. So we paid the $2.50 for the better quality recorder than the $1.00 one we already owned. What do you think? Can't you hear the quality in the resonant sound and tone.
Once his recorder arrived he began the Karate Recorder music class for 4th graders. He currently has his orange "belt," but is working toward being a black belt master recorder player. 
He is the cutest recorder artist that I have ever seen.
