When I got to the accident site, Levi was histarical, I jumped out of the van and ran to him thinking he was seriously injured but he was just crying and mad because he was not going to get to the concert. The ambulance came and they wanted to take him in to have him checked out just to be sure. As you can see Levi was not happy.........
(I took this picture, thinking about my blog, and then I realized that I was thinking about my blog and not my son during this traumatic time, I put the camera up)On the way to the hospital the EMT called ahead to the ER and told them that they were going to have to hurry the visit up so that Levi could make his first ever concert. From the accident site to the time we walked out of the hospital was less than an hour. The discharge nurse was in the room before the admitting person was finished. Now that is fast.
So that they could make it to the concert I drove them up to Indy, mom came down and picked me up (the baby shower was on Saturday) and I drove the Jeep home (thanks mom and dad) we are looking for a new vehicle, and just a little sad(very very little) to say goodbuy to our 1997 GEO Prism that got 40 miles to the gallon $1400 car. It paid for itself over and over again when gas was $4 a gallon and we were driving to Indy everyday. If you know of any good deals let me know.
While we were waiting for mom to arrive Millie and I went into a WalMart and bought a book for me and some peeps. I read and Millie explored the van and ate a peep.
As you can see Levi is healing up nicely. We are very thankful considering that on Friday nigh
his entire face was burnt and very sore.
